Leadership Mastery Track at the Club Industry Show

The Leadership Mastery track is for individuals in leadership positions and also those individuals looking to move into broader leadership roles. It is designed for those who want to re-enforce and broaden their leadership skill set perspective and those who want to develop a broader skill set in leadership. Both audiences will learn how to lead various critical components within our industry. While the sessions in this track will provide many tactile takeaways, the general approach will be more macro related to leadership. It is ideally for those who are leading sites, departments or wish to be. It is a top to bottom approach to what it takes to succeed. The focus will be on strategically leading all aspects of the business. For those that complete the majority of the track sessions, they will be awarded a leadership completion certificate.

In this session for individuals in leadership or looking to get into leadership, you will learn: The difference between leadership and management Setting direction – aligning resources – inspiring action Common traits and tenets of successful leaders Understanding your personal leadership style Leading into the future – trends vs. fads
People and Performance: The Secret Sauce
In this session, you will hear about how to win the war for talent so that your health club can be successful. In addition, you will learn about: Finding the right fit for your brand Tenacious cultural and experiential training Establishing freedoms and obligations Offering engagement and encouragement of the heart.
Service & Member Experience: The Product
In this session, the three speakers from the day’s Leadership Mastery track sessions will present on service and the membership experience, including a focus on these areas: People Product Process Orchestrating the overall customer experience Developing a purpose-driven platform.
